Today we have an update on this year’s Belmont & Carey Camp 2021; the location of this year’s camp is changing to Prestatyn, North Wales.

We are so excited to be returning to Prestatyn, especially as none of our current campers have been to this fab site. Many of our staff have been here and loved the site and facilities. Prestatyn is a Welsh seaside town located in Denbighshire. The campsite itself has a beautiful view of the Clwydian Range (a series of hills) and is only a ten minute walk from a long sandy beach, with shops and attractions also within walking distance. Denbighshire is a lovely area and we cannot wait to call it home for a week.

Prestatyn has the usual camp set-up including a marquee, ridge tents and showers; but it also has a brick-built games room and breakout area for us to use. These facilities are a first for us and we are very much looking forward to making the most of these areas, especially if the weather isn’t as nice as we hope it will be!

While the location may have changed, rest assured that the price, dates (14th to 21st August 2021) and planned fun have not been impacted.

Currently we have around thirty children attending but there are a few spaces available; if you know of any child that may be interested in attending please do ask their family to contact us.

The safety of our campers and staff is always our main priority. With this in mind we continue to monitor the regular updates from the government and will adapt accordingly if any changes arise. This is especially relevant in regards to the guidelines around social group gatherings & holiday restrictions.

As we write this, everything is looking positive that camp will be able to go ahead as planned.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during these uncertain times.

Best wishes,

Warren, Rhiannon & Martin
